Recently, the 220kV substation project of Tencent’s big data center situated in Jiangning, Nanjing operated and maintained by SUMEC Energy, a subsidiary of SUMEC Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as SUMEC), has successfully connected to the grid.

This project marks the first 220kV substation operation and maintenance project undertaken by SUMEC Energy, including construction and commissioning of two 80Mva transformers in the current phase, and future construction of four additional 80Mva transformers. Throughout the construction process, SUMEC Energy adhered to the customer-centric philosophy, strictly followed the owner's requirements, ensured that personnel were thoroughly familiar with the equipment, drafted operation manuals, conducted simulated equipment grid connections, and collaborated with the owner to carry out various commissioning tasks, ultimately achieving a smooth grid connection.

SUMEC Energy has been continuously building professional engineering and service capabilities, obtaining qualifications such as Level I Electric Power Project Construction Overall Contracting Qualification, Level III Mechanical and Electrical Project Construction Overall Contracting Qualification, Level III License for Electric Power Facilities Installation (Overhaul & Commissioning) Contracting, three major ISO certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) from SGS, Quality Pass AAA Certificate from TÜV Rheinland, CNAS Laboratory Accreditation Certificate, and the TÜV Rheinland “All Quality Matters Award” for Operation and Maintenance. SUMEC Energy currently operates over 500 power station projects, with an operational capacity exceeding 2.5GW.
