Recently, all goods of the auto parts export project, a collaboration between SUMEC International Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SUMEC-ITC") and a well-known domestic automaker, have been successfully delivered to Uzbekistan. This marks another new achievement in the "going global" journey under the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
Uzbekistan is a key participant in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" Initiative. The auto parts exported by SUMEC-ITC in this project total approximately 780 sets, which can be assembled into finished vehicles of different models. All goods were transported to Uzbekistan via the China-Europe Railway Express under the "Belt and Road" Initiative. These parts will be used in the customer’s subsequent automobile manufacturing and sales operations, providing solid support for the customer in ensuring the quality of production parts and supply security, optimizing its own automobile manufacturing industrial chain, and enhancing the competitiveness of its products in the local market.
Innovating "Door-to-Door" Logistics Services to Escort the "Going Global" Journey Throughout the Whole Process
The smooth delivery of this project benefits from the "door-to-door" integrated logistics solution that SUMEC-ITC has focused on building in recent years. To address challenges such as long logistics chains, multiple links, and complex coordination in countries along the "Belt and Road", SUMEC-ITC gives full play to its comprehensive advantages in supply chain management, international transportation, customs clearance services, and localized operations. It provides customers with tailor-made end-to-end services, covering everything from goods pickup at the factory, domestic consolidation, export customs declaration, international railway/maritime transportation, customs clearance in the destination country to final delivery to the customer’s factory.
In this Uzbekistan project, the SUMEC-ITC team intervened in advance and coordinated multiple resources, including domestic suppliers, railway carriers, and local agents in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, to ensure seamless connection between all links. Through the China-Europe Railway Express—a highly efficient, stable, and green transportation channel—the goods completed the cross-border transportation from China’s eastern coastal areas to the hinterland of Central Asia in just 14 days. This is nearly half the time saved compared with traditional maritime transportation. Moreover, the entire process is visible and trackable, greatly improving the certainty and response speed of the customer’s supply chain.
"We are not just movers of goods, but an extension of our customers’ global supply chains," said a relevant person in charge of SUMEC-ITC. "The core of the ‘door-to-door’ service lies in ‘peace of mind’ and ‘reliability’. Through our professional team and digital platform, we transform complex international logistics into a clear transportation schedule and a reassuring delivery commitment in the hands of our customers."
Deepening Engagement in the "Belt and Road" to Empower Chinese Enterprises’ Global Layout
For a long time, SUMEC-ITC has fully leveraged its advantages in global supply chain integrated service capabilities, actively expanded its business in countries and regions along the "Belt and Road", and focused on the export of advanced mechanical and electrical equipment in fields such as electronics, automobiles, and new energy. It provides a package of services for Chinese enterprises to set up factories overseas and contributes positively to the "going global" of Chinese enterprises.
With the in-depth advancement of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, more and more Chinese enterprises are accelerating their global layout. SUMEC-ITC has keenly grasped this trend and continuously upgraded its service model, transforming from a single trade executor to an integrated solution provider covering "trade + logistics + finance + localized services". In addition to Central Asia, the company has successfully extended its "door-to-door" services to multiple markets including Russia, Southeast Asia, and Central and Eastern Europe, helping China’s advantageous industries such as new energy vehicles, photovoltaic equipment, and construction machinery to "go global" efficiently.
"Those who share the same aspiration are not deterred by mountains and seas." Looking ahead, under the correct leadership of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), SUMEC will actively participate in the construction of countries and regions along the "Belt and Road". It will adhere to the balanced development of high-quality "bringing in" and high-level "going out", continuously strengthen international industrial cooperation, build a more resilient supply chain, help promote the global expansion of Chinese equipment, and contribute SUMEC’s strength to better promoting the economic development of relevant countries and regions.
