Recently, SUMEC Complete Equipment & Engineering Co. Ltd. affiliated to SUMEC Group Corporation (SUMEC) has successfully won a bid on the Jintan Changdang Lake Water Plant Phase II and Supporting Project in Changzhou.

The project aims to supply sufficient water and improve the quality of supplied water in Jintan District, thereby improving the security and safety of urban water supply in this region. The project is to expand the plant’s daily supplying capacity to 100,000 tons. Water is supplied from the Changdang Lake and the Xinmeng River. The project consists of three works, namely water purification, partial technological modification of the Phase I Project, and chlorination system renovation at the Changjin Booster Pump Station. Conventional, advanced and sludge treatment techniques will be adopted.

The Siem Reap Water Supply Expansion Project in Cambodia is the first municipal water supply project built by SUMEC Complete Equipment & Engineering Co. Ltd. outside of China. It can supply 60,000 tons of high-quality tap water a day, greatly improving the living standards of the local people. The Cambodian government recognized the project team’s outstanding work.

The Bailonggang Sewage Plant boasts a daily wastewater treatment capacity of 2.8 million tons. Its Phase III Expansion Project is underway. After completion, the plant’s daily wastewater treatment capacity will reach 3.5 million tons, and the plant will become the largest of its kind in Asia. This project is one of the National Municipal Gold Cup Demonstration Projects, and was awarded the National Quality Engineering Award twice. SUMEC Complete Equipment & Engineering Co. Ltd. has engaged in the Phase I, Phase II, and Upgrading and Renovation Projects, and the Phase III Expansion Project.

The Jintan Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase I Project in Changzhou boasts a daily industrial wastewater treatment capacity of 50,000 tons, specializing in the treatment of wastewater from the chemical industry and general industrial sources. Its treated effluent meets the Class IV surface water standard. This project has improved the regional water system upon its completion.

The Wastewater Treatment and Reclaimed Water Reuse Project in Northern Ningbo can produce 60,000 tons of reclaimed water a day. In Zhejiang Province, it’s the first wastewater treatment company regarded as an industrial tourism base.

The water plant in Wei Village, Changzhou, has a daily treatment capacity of 700,000 tons, significantly improving the quality of water for domestic use from “standard” to “premium.”

With a surface area of 45,000 square meters, the Remediation Project on Black and Odorous Water in Lianshui County, Huai’an is about 1.5 kilometers long and 10 to 30 meters wide. It will improve the regional water system after completion.
